This Privacy Policy ("Policy") discloses the privacy practices for accessing Platforms and using Services provided by Advisor Energy. In this Policy, "Advisor Energy", "we", "us" or "our" means Advisor Energy Inc., and/or "User", "Authorized User", "you" or "your" means any user of the Services. 1. What information we collect
We collect information about you when you provide it to us, when you access our Platforms and use the Services, and when other sources provide it to us, as described below.

Information you provide to us

  • Account and Profile Information: We collect information you voluntarily provide to us, such as your name, phone number, email address, company name, position, etc. during the account creation process.
  • Content you provide through our Platforms: We collect content that you submit to our Platforms, which includes email and our social media accounts. This includes information you submit through contact forms, email requests, surveys, etc.
  • Information you provide when requesting support: You may choose to submit information regarding a problem you are experiencing when accessing our Platforms or using our Services. Whether you designate yourself as a technical contact, open a support ticket, speak to one of our representatives directly or otherwise engage with our team, you will be asked to provide contact information, a summary of the problem you are experiencing, and any other documentation, screenshots or information that would be helpful in resolving the issue.

Information we collect automatically

  • Services Metadata: When you interact with the Platforms, metadata is generated that provides additional context about the way you use the service. For example, we track which content you interacted with, what information you searched for, what information you shared, etc.
  • Log data: As with most websites and technology services delivered over the Internet, we automatically collect information when you access our Platforms and record it in log files. This log data may include the Internet Protocol (IP) address, the address of the web page visited before using the Platform, browser type and settings, the date and time the Platform was used, information about browser configuration and plugins, language preferences and cookie data.
  • Device information: We also collect information about devices accessing the Platforms, including type of device, what operating system is used, device settings, application IDs, unique device identifiers and crash data. Whether we collect some or all of this information often depends on the type of device used and its settings.

2. How we use the information we collect
Delivering, improving, updating and enhancing our Services

First and foremost, we use information about you to provide the Services to you - authenticate you when you log in, provide customer support, and operate and maintain the Platforms. We use your email domain to infer your affiliation with a particular organization or industry to personalize the content and experience you receive from using our Services.

We also utilize this information to:
  • Improve and optimize the operation and performance of our Platforms
  • Diagnose problems with and identify any security risks, errors, or needed enhancements to the Platforms
  • Detect and prevent fraud and abuse of our Platforms

3. How we share the information we collect
Transfer of personal data abroad

If you access our Platforms from a country other than the country where our servers are located, your communications with us may result in transferring your personal data across international borders. Also, when you call us or initiate a chat, we may provide you with support from a location outside your country of origin. In these cases, your personal data is handled according to this Privacy Policy.

Compliance with legal, regulatory and law enforcement requests

We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We will disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal process (such as subpoena requests), to protect our property and rights or the property and rights of a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity we consider to be illegal or unethical.

To the extent we are legally permitted to do so, we will take reasonable steps to notify you in the event that we are required to provide your personal information to third parties as part of legal process. We will also share your information to the extent necessary to comply with ICANN or any ccTLD rules, regulations and policies when you register a domain name with us.

Website analytics

We use multiple web analytics tools provided by service partners such as Google Analytics to collect information about how you interact with our Platforms including what pages you visit, what site you visited prior to visiting our website, how much time you spend on each page, what operating system and web browser you use and network and IP information. We use the information provided by these tools to improve our Services.

These tools place persistent cookies in your browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit our website. Each cookie cannot be used by anyone other than the service provider (ex: Google for Google Analytics). The information collected from the cookie may be transmitted to and stored by these service partners on servers in a country other than the country in which you reside. Though information collected does not include personal data such as name, address, etc., the information collected is used and shared by these service providers in accordance with their individual privacy policies.

You can control the technologies we use by managing your settings through our Cookies Policy or the 'cookie banners" that may be presented (depending on URL of website visited) when you first visit our Platforms, or by utilizing settings in your browser or third-party tools, such as Disconnect, Ghostery and others.

Third Party Vendors

We use a variety of third-party vendors to carry out services like application and database management and hosting, email communications, etc. We only share your personal data as necessary, such as to provide the Services you have requested or authorized and only with vendors or agents working on our behalf for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. In this case, your personal information will be shared with these agents or contractors but only for the purpose of performing services on behalf and under instructions of Advisor Energy Inc. and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. It is our legitimate interest to share information with these parties for these purposes.

Our Services might include links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of third-party sites. Please read the privacy policy of any website you visit.
4. How we store and secure your information
We follow generally accepted standards to store and protect the personal data we collect, both during transmission and once received and stored, including utilization of encryption where appropriate.

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your information, you acknowledge that: (a) there are security and privacy limitations of the Internet which are beyond our control; (b) the security, integrity and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and our Services cannot be guaranteed; and (c) any such information and data may be viewed or tampered with in transit by a third party.

We generally retain your information as long as reasonably necessary to provide you the Services or to comply with applicable law. However, even after you deactivate your account, we can retain copies of information about you and any transactions or Services in which you may have participated for a period of time that is consistent with applicable law, applicable statute of limitations or as we believe is reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, to detect or prevent fraud, to collect fees owed, to resolve disputes, to address problems with our Services, to assist with investigations, to enforce our Terms of Service other applicable agreements or policies, or to take any other actions consistent with applicable law.
5. How to access and control your information
To easily access, view, update or delete your personal data, or to update your subscription preferences, please sign into our Platforms and visit "Settings". You can also access your settings directly from the Terms & Privacy Center.

If you decide to delete your personal data, the request will be honored only to the extent that the data it is no longer necessary for accessing any of the Platforms or required for our legitimate business purposes or legal or contractual record keeping requirements.

You may request a copy of your personal data in an electronic format. You may also request to remove your account from our Platforms. After you remove your account, you will no longer be able to log into any of the Platforms and your personal data will become unaccessible and unrecoverable.

6. Other important privacy information
"Do Not Track" notifications.

Some browsers allow you to automatically notify websites you visit not to track you using a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no consensus among industry participants as to what "Do Not Track" means in this context. Like many websites and online services, we currently do not alter our practices when we receive a "Do Not Track" signal from a visitor's browser. Age restrictions


Our services and products are not directed to users under 18 years of age. Any use by someone under this age is strictly prohibited and will be terminated immediately upon discovery. Further, any personally identifiable information provided by someone under 18 or that identifies someone under this age, will be deleted immediately upon discovery if in violation of this restriction.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

You acknowledge that this Privacy Policy is part of our Terms of Service, and by accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by all of its terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not access the Platforms.

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. Such changes, modifications, additions or deletions shall be effective immediately upon notice thereof, which may be given by means including, but not limited to issuing an E-mail to the E-mail address listed by registered users and posting the revised Privacy Policy on this page.

You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to maintain a valid E-mail address as a registered user, review this site and this Privacy Policy periodically and to be aware of any modifications. Your continued access of the Platforms and use of the Services after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by the modified Policy.
